Photograph looking east taken from top end of harbour entrance. Several boats with masts are in the harbour with a number of people walking towards quay with more aboard boats. Castle can be seen to the extreme right in the distance, looks particularly wet on the ground, men appear to be wearing knee length waterproof coats. Beside the boats are large boxes, likely cargo of some sorts. A lamp can be seen jutting out from the front of a building.
