Hand coloured postcard showing a view of Thurso Town Hall and surrounding square which was once a site for markets. Further up High Street is the sign for Hamilton's shop which sold ale and spirits. The building prior to the Carnegie Library being built is seen to the right. The library was later used by Thurso Heritage Society as a popular museum.
